Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 3/4 cup dill pickles, diced
- 3 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 2 tablespoons pickle juice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Combine the Greek yogurt and cottage cheese in a medium mixing bowl.
- Stir thoroughly until the mixture becomes smooth and evenly blended.
- Add the pickle juice to the yogurt and cottage cheese mixture.
- Mix well until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the diced dill pickles gently.
- Add the fresh chopped dill.
- Sprinkle in the garlic powder and onion powder.
- Whisk or stir for about 1 minute until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Taste the dip and add more pickle juice if a stronger briny flavor is desired.
- Add extra fresh dill if desired for a brighter herb flavor.
- Transfer the protein dill pickle dip to a serving bowl.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve chilled with vegetables, crackers, chips, or as a sandwich spread.
Notes
Use plain Greek yogurt and plain cottage cheese for the best flavor. Pat diced pickles dry before folding them into the dip to prevent excess moisture. Chill for at least 30 minutes so the flavors can meld and the texture can firm up.
