Instructions
- Measure exactly one cup of filtered water into a clean glass mixing bowl.
- Let the water reach room temperature before adding other ingredients.
- Verify the gelatin powder is fresh with no clumping or discoloration.
- Sprinkle the horse gelatin powder evenly across the surface of the water without stirring.
- Allow the powder to bloom undisturbed for exactly three minutes.
- Gently stir the bloomed gelatin with a wooden spoon using slow, deliberate motions.
- Continue stirring for two minutes until no visible gelatin particles remain.
- Add the warm bone broth while stirring constantly.
- Mix in the Himalayan pink salt, fresh lemon juice, and raw honey.
- Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a clean glass container.
- Allow the strained mixture to cool to room temperature for five minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to the refrigerator.
- Let it set undisturbed for a minimum of four hours.
- For best texture, refrigerate six to eight hours before serving.
Notes
Bloom the gelatin for exactly three minutes for the smoothest texture. Never use water hotter than 110°F, and avoid microwaving because excessive heat can damage the collagen structure.
