Ingredients

lbs lean ground turkey
2 cups marinara sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup cooked whole wheat pasta
½ cup tomato paste
1 medium onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
Heat olive oil in a large skillet, cook turkey until browned
Add onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; sauté until tender
Stir in marinara and tomato paste; simmer for 10 minutes
Layer pasta in a 9×13-inch baking dish, pour turkey mixture over it
Top with mozzarella cheese and Parmesan
Bake for 25 minutes until bubbly and golden
Let rest 10 minutes before serving
