Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
8 ounces penne pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan
1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat
Sauté garlic 1 minute until fragrant
Add red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, and salt
Add shrimp, cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink
Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream, simmer 3 minutes
Toss in cooked pasta and sprinkle parmesan until fully coated
Remove from heat, fold in fresh parsley

Notes

Adjust red pepper flakes for heat level
Pasta water can be reserved for adjusting sauce consistency
