1 lb lean ground beef
1 cup elbow macaroni
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
1 medium onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cup water
Instructions
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Brown the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon.
Add onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a simmer, then stir in pasta and water.
Cover and cook gently for 20-25 minutes until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
Adjust seasoning before serving.
