Ingredients
1 pound flank steak or sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 cloves garlic, minced or finely grated
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter
Once the butter is melted and just starting to foam, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant
Increase the heat to high, add the steak cubes, and sear for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked to your desired doneness
Sprinkle with salt and pepper and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, to ensure even basting in the garlic butter
Reduce the heat to medium and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the steak is fully cooked and the garlic and butter have melded into a rich sauce
Serve immediately
Notes
Choose tender cuts of beef like sirloin or flank steak for best results
For a richer flavor, use garlic-infused butter or add a splash of beef stock for extra moisture
Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days in an airtight container
Reheat gently in a skillet to maintain tenderness and flavor
